Any information stored on Turkish University Admission Service’s servers is treated as confidential. All information is stored securely and is accessed by authorized personnel only. Turkish University Admission Service implements and maintains appropriate technical, security and organisational measures to protect Personal Data against unauthorized or unlawful processing and use, and against accidental loss, destruction, damage, theft or disclosure. This Data Protection policy is intended to give you an understanding of how and why we use the information that you give us. We do not share this data with third parties for marketing purposes.

To guarantee the security of your applicants’ data, please change the password provided after your initial set up. Make sure your new password is unique but memorable, as we will not be able to verify this once you have changed it. We would recommend that a strong password would contain at least eight characters, which includes upper and lower case letters, a number, and other characters.

Please do not share your sign in details. If another member of staff requires access to the system, please direct them to your Turkish University Admission Service Correspondent to be set-up as a user in their own right.

During a User’s registration, they provide information such as name, email address, postal address, telephone number, and other relevant data. This information is used by Turkish University Admission Service to identify the User and provide them with services regarding Turkish University application support and advice. Turkish University Admission Service will not retain User data longer than is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable laws or regulations.

Users should be given access to the appropriate level of data they need in order to conduct the duties of their role. Setting up the appropriate groupings in your centre’s system will assist with this, making sure staff can only access the data of the students they are supporting.

The personal data stored in the system should not be shared with other centres. An individual’s choice of where to apply should be confidential to them. The system should not be used to discuss this.

The personal data is gathered for the application process and should not be used for any other purpose without the consent of the individual.

Turkish University Admission Service will not retain data longer than is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable laws or regulations.

Please do not print personal data unless there is no other option. If you need to print any personal data from the system, you need to ensure the handling of this data is secure. Please Do not leave the data in any open areas where it may be seen by third parties and Do not leave hard copy data in vehicles or have it on view on public transport, if you do have to take it outside of the centre. Please use a secure method of transportation, such as a locked briefcase.

If a student requests access to any of their personal data, you should action this in line with your own data protection policy and processes.

Should you wish to take any complaints or queries further, you have the right to contact the Competent Authority regarding such issues.

If at any time you do not wish to receive further information about us and our services, or you wish to change your contact details or preferences, please contact us using the details below. Please note that we will keep some basic contact information to ensure we don’t contact you again in the future. If we completely erased your records then we wouldn’t be able to ensure we don’t contact you again in the future.
