Ankara Yıldırım Beyazit University set off with the purpose of being an attraction centre worldwide regarding to scientific studies. With our laboratories equipped with the latest technology, international scientific collaborations and projects, we are continuing our studies to be one of the distinguished universities worldwide in the field of science in the near future. Language of Instruction in EnglishTo be able to speak at least one language is an indispensable requirement today. On the basis of this fact, we are continuing to offer education 100 % in English in our faculties of Medicine, Management, Political Sciences, Engineering and Department of Psychology of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences with our developed curriculum. We are also struggling to answer to the needs for the training of qualified human resources by offering education 30% in English in our Faculty of Law and vocational English education in our Faculty of Health Sciences whose language of instruction is Turkish.  A state university in AnkaraWith 7 faculties, 1 academy and 4 graduate schools and 1 conservatory, Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University is established in Ankara as the fifth public university after a break of 44 years. From the year 2016 onwards, AYBU is in the service of the public with its 12 faculties, 1 vocational school,1 state conservatory,  5 graduate schools, 17 application and research centres as a research university with international goals. It is also an innovative education project to be actualized with the purpose of rebuilding higher education in the direction of the requirements of rising generation. In addition to offering the countless advantages of being educated in the capital, Ankara, the university is foregrounded with accommodation, transportation and social opportunities. The main campus of university is located in Esenboğa District. The first-phase construction of the main campus was initiated in the year 2014 and will be offered to the use of the students in 2016-2017 Academic Year. Rich social facilitiesOur additional campuses that are located in Etlik which is one of the distinguished districts of Ankara provides a satisfactory environment to the students with its social opportunities. The biggest indoor swimming pool is that is nearby the campus that is surrounded by places offering varies activities with indoor and outdoor sports halls, football fields and basketball courts, bowling halls of Antares Shopping Centre is awaiting for the students.
