Our University was founded as “ADIYAMAN VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL”in 1983 - connected to İnönü unversity- ,and following that ”School Of Health” 12.05.1996 and “Faculty of Science and Letters” in 12.05.1998 and “Faculty of Eduction”-connected to Gaziantep Univesity ,Gölbaşı Vocational High school in 1988,Besni Vocational High school 15.12.1997,”Adıyaman Faculty of Vocational and Technical Education”in 2003 and “Kahta Vocational High school” in 16.10.1997- connected to Harran unversity.With the Academic units that originateted from 3 different Universities, our University was founded following the enaction of 1 march 2006 and 5467 act of Parliament after anouncing at the Official Newspaper in 17 march 2006MissionBased on the universal values ​​,Human-centered,Socio-Cultural facilitator with scientific research and publications,the moment facing matters filtering it through Science and Mind,as an educator University of individuals-whom the Region and the Country needs- to lead change and transform of the society and sustainable development.VisionTo be a notable University via basing on the universal values ,presenting modern education, exchanging the ragion’s socio-economic conditions and to be preferable university
